The atheist of today, thinks that in this modern nuclear, space age it has become old-fashioned to believe in an invisible god.
Yet today every worshiper who claims to have a atheist god is challenged to act as witness for his god. In fact, all the gods, who are worshiped as gods are challenged to produce their witnesses to prove that they are gods or are the one living and true God.
Every reasonable person will agree that there is no use in worshiping and serving a false god.

There are millions of people who claim to be godless, atheistic, not committed to any god. But they contradict themselves by worshiping a national god, football stars, actors, politicians and pop stars. Just because some claim that God is nonexistent does not make it so. You need to look in the right places for things, even for God. Not having found Him does not alter the fact that he exists. So can it be that many people have been looking in the wrong places for him?

But I am not on here to get certificates or commendations, I am here just to express my belief in a Creator and to give others to the opportunity of knowing that there is a God who cares and that he is very soon going to bring an end to the problems of mankind. If you don’t want to know, so be it. At the end of the day not one of you can say “I didn’t know. No one told me”.

Well lets change 'God' to philosophy or belief.
Certainly on here atheists are continuously 'giving witness' to that on a dailly basis.
But more that philosophy calls back demonstrating it's reality

I type on the computer the laws of Science communicate my words to you.
In comparison - you pray for peace and wars rage
you pray for justice and the weak are abused

The main standpoint of every religion is that yours is the truth, therefore all the others must be false. You can't have your cake and eat it.
It doesn't matter which god you choose...they were all invented by man at some time in the past. Gods are still being invented even now, when we have pretty-near universal education, especially in the West.
Most of the "new" religions have been made up in the States, a country so advanced that they put a man on the Moon !

Lets be clear here. You did not mention Prof.Henry Gee in your original post when you used his quotation, attempting to pass it off as your own commentary - I had to point that out to you , as did at least one other poster!
Even then you ignored what we had pointed out. Lets be clear here. The man you quoted, Prof.Henry Gee, categorically rejects your interpretation of his words, your quote of which is cherry-picked and used our of context.
This is intellectual dishonesty. This could be considered plagiarism. To ignore comments about your activity is cowardice.
You cut and paste screeds. I, and others here have asked you repeatedly to at least attribute the cut and paste - which you never do. Better still would be to summarise what you intend to post, then provide a link to the original source - but you never do.
Instead you continually cut and paste screeds of text, without attribution or acknowledgement that you are in fact quoting from somewhere else. This is intellectually dishonest. It deprives the readership of the context and the source and possible bias of what you post.

modeller, I wish you luck with your Santa/Tooth Fairy question. It is some years since I asked this question several times: since those two and God are supernatural creatures who are supposed to do magical things which never happen and for whose existence there is not a scrap of evidence, why believe in one and not the other two?
