The reality is that you hope the promises of your religion will be fulfilled. There is no solid basis for that belief at all. All you have is that hope.

And if it isn't fulfilled you have wasted your life in false hope.

We have already seen in the Bible where Jesus promised that the glorious rule of the Lord would come within a lifetime and yet it still has not come to pass after 100 generations.
