What A Strange Thing To Find

Today, whilst we were out dog walking we came across a tube of Fixodent on the path in the middle of a field.
We have wracked our brains trying to explain this strange find. Any suggestions?

Yes, it looked empty, jomifl. We didn't pick it up, though. Never know where it's been.

Person thought they had grabbed a tube of KY jelly on the way out and threw it away when he/she realised their mistake.

Dogs do have dentures you know - so it's a wild dog taking his or her fixing agent home......

They were looking for fossils when they found it. The police came round and took some details (and the bones). Never heard any more as we moved out of the area shortly after.

We kind of forgot about it with the whole moving/leaving jobs/starting a new life thing. Would love to know how they happened to be there (and of there were any other bits).

Maybe someone was using it as a container for something else, sweets maybe.

Could be, mikey. Although most of the farmers I know don't seem to give a thought to how they look. In fact, most of them don't have teeth.
