I'm afraid I don't recall how he came by his views of the world but maybe he just saw the light one day. Lots of people do, it's just not always the same light.

i stopped watching it after 5 mins, he comes off with some bizarre names and phrases, some of this stuff he talks about the various parts of the brain etc just gets me lost.

I heard he had his initial reverlations after he had nervous breakdown, but I don't know how true that is.

Maybe he had an anurism and a lack of oxygen to the brain to believe all that clap trap.

And yto be honest if it's true I don't rightly care cos it doesn't interfere with my dull and boreing life :)

I have seen him give one of his talks AND was introduced to him in person afterwards.
He is clearly either mentally ill or an extremely good conman.

I am also acquainted with one of our local town councilors, Simon Parkes, who claims his mother is a 9ft alien and he lost his virginity to an alien at the age of 5 too an alien. (He has an allotment on the same site as Mr O and it is difficult to have a conversation with him about potatoes etc and keep a straight face)

I have posted on here about him before, I am convinced that he knows very well that his theory's are total junk but he also knows that they can never be disproved and that they them makes him a lot of money.
In fact the more that he is 'debunked' the more his followers are convinced that his conspiracy theory's are true. He really is 'laughing all the way to the Bank' As said all his appearances are booked out months in advance and he makes up to £300,000 a time from them!!
