If you do, why do you complain about western ways?
If you dont, why dont you go away? Go to a country that's more accommodating to your beliefs?
Honestly not an idictment on your beliefs, just a question on how we can all live together peacefully.

I think that's a bit of a generalisation, nailit. I have several Muslim friends resident in the UK, and they're not complaining, they go about their lives peaceably and just get on with it.

It's the 'homeland' that drives this feeling. Wipe out all the Muslim 'countries' and the immigrants left in the Western world would be short skirts and whisky in no time at all.

Not suggesting that this should happen but that's essentially why the dislike of Western culture persists.

Qur'an (3:28) - "Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them..." This last part means that the Muslim is allowed to feign friendship if it is of benefit. Renowned scholar Ibn Kathir states that "believers are allowed to show friendship outwardly, but never inwardly."

muslims cannot live peacefully side by side with any other religion inc hindhu, bhuddist, jew etc etc. there is no such thing as a moderate muslim so get that out of your head. it is now part of the growing jihad that muslims wage on western society including the rape of our children by muslim peadophiles look at rochdale and rotheram, the draining of our welfare
system is another part of jihad, military jihad, immigration jihad, population jihad ie breeding like rabbits and taking over our areas. i can go on.........

As Boxtops said a bit of a generalisation- however much like Christianity Islam is evangelical- it wants everyone to join their little club whether they want to or not. I think if you go to live in any country you should abide by their laws and respect their culture- most Muslims manage this just fine, but the noisy, crazy, violent nut cases are the ones who make the news and the ones who turn impressionable kids heads towards Jihad.
I despise evangelical religions from Muslims who want to turn us into a Sharia State to Christians who went to Africa and refused to treat Aids victims if they didn't come to church- completely dispicable on both counts, one more subtly so than the other.

It is a bit of a generalisation but its a valid point. If the more extreme Muslims want to live in an extremist Muslim State, there are plenty to choose from, like that well-known democracy, Saudi Arabia. But they seem to want have their cake and eat it to, by coming to a secular, easy-going country like Britain, having all the advantages of living in a democracy, and then expect us to change our ways to accommodate them !

How obliging would the Government and people of Saudi Arabia be if thousands of Brits would have complete leave of their senses and go and live over there ? What reaction could the Brits expect if they were to demand that Christian Churches be established, women to walk freely down any road not covered in yards of black sheeting ? What if those British women wanted to do a simple thing like drive a car ?

I welcome anybody, from any culture and religion to come to live in Britain, as long as they are not disruptive. As someone has said on here already, the majority of our foreigners are well behaved but its the minority that is the problem. When the West stepped in and brought the regime of the blood-thirsty Saddam Hussein to an end, you would have thought that Muslims all over the world would have been grateful but no. Saddam had been killing 10,000's of his own citizens, almost all of them Muslims, for years but where were the Muslim protect groups then ? Not fighting to get rid of him, that is for sure.
