What Would God Vote?
27 Answers
if God had a vote in the Scottish Referendum what would He vote? I know that in the United Kingdom Christian values are in decline, God is rarely mentioned in schools for fear of offending other religions and Christians are being disciplined for expressing their faith in the workplace. But just for a moment think about what God would vote. All throughout the bible, old and new testament there is evidence of Him speaking of the value and of the importance of unity. In one verse it is written "Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction" And on that basis I would believe that God Himself would vote No to Scottish Independence and He would believe that Scotland would be stronger united with the United Kingdom.

I feel sorry for people who still call God's word nonsense and fairy tales. Anyway, I do not believe that this issue matters much to God. However, if a split allows anymore peace then God is in favor of it because He tells us "If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men." By the way, why is it okay to talk about radical Muslims cutting people's head off in the news because they supposedly believe in a god that says to kill those who don't agree with them, but it is not okay to speak about the real God? It is amazing how some folks bad mouth Christians for our belief because it offends them. I still am not sure why some are offended, if we are wrong why is it your business. If you are wrong you have an eternity in Hell to regret it. Personally, I am offended by people cutting off the heads of SMALL children, women and men with their hands tied behind their backs because they don't agree that Mohammed was a false prophet. Now that IS news.
This talk of the 'real' God is a puzzler to me.
With so many religions claiming that their faith is the true one - which should we follow in order to end up in Heaven.
I would be really cheesed off if I dedicated my life to the teachings of Mohammed or Jesus, only to find out that when I died, it was Krishna up there, laughing at me and calling me a mug.
