Ratter’s thread got me wondering. Many of the atheists here read religious tomes, but who among the religious reads books on the subject of religion written by atheists? If you do, which ones have you read and what were your impressions?

The Religion and Spirituality thread here is mainly written by atheists, so we get to know all about their opinions. If a written book by an atheist is the same stuff as dished out here then I would not find it particularly interesting. What makes you think that many of the atheists here read religious tomes? And what kind of tomes are they? Stories of the saints? The Bible? Pray tell.
Ratter I think my post is clear. I asked -

Instead of answering I was told to go away and start my own thread if I want to ask questions!
Pretty strange response I think and one which leads me to conclude that she does not actually know that many atheists on here read religious tomes and that she cannot name any of their reading material / because it is not true.
However if ABers come on here and say they do read religious works such as x etc then I would be very interested, and if Naomi can answer what she based her statement on then that would be good to know.

Oh poor you Naomi - .I am disrupting your thread! Your question was asking whether religious people read things written by atheists. I answered your question and asked you one myself. To which you told me to start another thread. Sorry if my input bothers you but anyone is free to post on any thread they like.
Grasscarp, here you go - again. You weren't told to 'go away'. You were asked to post your questions in a separate thread in order not to disrupt mine. As for atheists here who read religious tomes, common sense ought to tell you they know more about the subject than you do. If they didn't you'd have nothing to constantly 'carp' about.
