Its ST. GEORGES DAY today, our national day. Does anyone think it should be a national holiday?

Im retired but i think we ought to make more of it, its hardly mentioned or celebrated.
I do Anne, they speak funny but I don't hold that against them ;)

Not sure if it should be a NH, but I do think we should make more of an effort for it.
I think more of an effort should be made, too.

Problem is...it's seems to be a day for football hooligan types.

Not mentioned locally i mean Anne, no flags up or special celebrations.
I was born in England, live in OZ.
Any excuse for a day off.

He is not exactly easy to identify with thou is he?, I know Game of Thrones is popular but I have not seen a dragon for years.
A day off to celebrate an Italian that most will only know as someone who slayed a creature that never even existed! Why not?

Any excuse for another days lost production!
