Of course I do,’ you might say. Yet today’s rapidly deteriorating moral standards indicate it is not so.

Homosexual people are rapidly gaining their human rights instead of being considered illegal under Biblically inspired laws.
People who live together without being married are no long considered "sinful".
Women have equal rights to opportunities contrary to the primitive Biblical edict of their inferior worth.
Children are now treated as people instead of possessions of their parents as taught in the Bible. They are no longer "born sinners". Society is finally dealing with child abuse starting with the abuses of the "men in cloth" of the churches who have perpetrated such indecency.
The further we get away from the whole idea of "holy books" and gods the better our morality becomes.

I don't believe there is such a thing as objective free-standing right or wrong, context and motivation is everything, or as is said in Ecclesiastes 3:1 ;
To Everything There is a Season and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

King Solomon spoke of 28 different things, each of which has its “appointed time.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) An understanding of the meaning and implications of what Solomon said will help you to determine the right time and the wrong time for certain actions, as viewed by God. (Hebrews 5:14) That, in turn, will allow you to pattern your life accordingly
