Christians - Do They Really Practice What They Preach?
24 Answers
I know i am going to ruffle a few feathers here, but following on from paddy's question about homelessness, i wonder how many Christians practice what they preach. I live next door to some Christians that also do a lot of work for the salvation army - who say they will help anyone in need. However, when i let a homeless person stay in my caravan in my back garden for a few weeks they did not like it. They even went as far as to comment about it on my planning permission application and say they were worried that if i build a granny annex i would use it to house the homeless. How can we make Britain great again when people don't want to help, and even tell others off for helping others in need? Especially when these people are meant to be the most caring of all? i'm not sure about the numbers but the Christian community is so big that they could easily wipe out homelessness, i wonder why it's not happening? No ! They always find an excuse.
Ask them if they have have ever taken a refugee into their home .
I have and it's greeted with silence . They all live in big houses with spare rooms..
However I took some into my home some years ago and I'm not a believer. I'm too old now ( 89 ) .

Really speaking, there should be no rich Christians who follow their teachings.
When there was an impending check into the financial affairs of Vatican city, the actual Vatican increased its assets value by €1.2billion! So the holy shrine was undervalued by 15+% before, an ideal ploy to cover up the many millions that was being siphoned off through corruption by unscrupulous 'holy seniors' staff.
