Well according to the reactions to the brave attempt in Berlin it doesn't look promising, even the march organised against terrorism was poorly attended - which makes you think doen't it?

Talbot: I missed that thread, had I seen it and responded, I would at the time have had hope. I am not concerned about the lack of interest on AB, but the fact that it is almost non-existent in the Muslim world is worrying.
One of the the problems is the fear of retribution from the stubborn and ill-educated imams and another is about virtue-signalling to the rest of the Muslim community.
I think we may have to accept that deep in their psyche, most Muslims are comfortable with terrorism.

None of the Abrahamic religions could ever be considered "moderate" while the core of their faith is the eager anticipation a future where their deity slaughters all those who don't subscribe to their particular flavour of belief.
I don't understand why the fascist nature of these faiths is not obvious to everyone.

what compounds the problem is millions have moved to the west, to setup enclaves of similar minded muslims totally unhindered, and expanding with birthrates adding more of the same mindset, same people despise western culture, so it makes me wonder why they want to live amongst nonbelievers, live amongst mmm they dont.. deliberately in case western influence taints them or their children.
i would help maybe, if only uk imams were hired and not flown over from extremist muslim countries, but then again they all are, what's the cure, to little to late now, ideally they should have never been allowed to set foot in the uk way back when. not many in japan

fender; Quite! "not many in japan" and no terrorism, equally not many in Poland or Hungary and no terrorism there also, but lots in France and lots of terrorism.
This and many other valid points are expressed by Douglas Murray in his excellent thesis which you can see in the AB News section; "Are all Politicians Cowards?"

'They' managed to moderate the Roman Catholics / Popes, but it took around 700 years - according to this:
