Eddie....I know you live close to the Council Tip, where they have been trying to find the body of the missing Airman, Corrie McKeague. They restarted digging at the site in October....do you know if there is still some activity there ?

Our local rag (which covers Bury St Edmunds, where CM was last seen) maintains a 'Hot Topics' link for any developments on the story:

Eddie....thanks...this mystery gets ever deeper. So if his body is not at the tip, just where is it ?
Perhaps he did wake up, in the back of the wagon, all out halfway to the tip, and then wander off and fall down a ditch somewhere.
Someone on here said that the area has many small creeks, and any of them could have carried his body out to sea.
I suppose nobody can say that the authorities didn't pull their fingers out eventually, but what a pity that they didn't search rather quicker after he went missing

Mikey, // what a pity that they didn't search rather quicker after he went missing //
Will you please stop saying that. You know the history of this case. We've discussed it enough. I'm convinced you have a downer on the police - any police. You never miss an opportunity to criticise them - even to the extent of ignoring what you know to be the truth to do it.

I know Barton Mills where the lorry stopped and his phone signal also stopped . It is basically in the middle of nowhere, just huge flat open fields with drainage ditches between them. I still think he realised he was in a lorry and got out as soon as it stopped. Then still being drunk he wandered off only to fall into a drainage ditch. As far as I know the Barton Mills area has not been searched at all , though I am open to correction. I think what remains of him is in the bottom of a ditch within a few miles of Barton Mills. But it may take decades to find him, it would take the entire British army months to do a thorough search of the area.
This is where we are talking about
