I am still waiting for your explanation of how a god appeared from no thing.
Science shows how everything we see came from a simple Quantum fluctuation of pure undifferentiated energy following a small number of simple consistent laws for which no exceptions have ever been observed.
That makes a whole lot more sense than the religious assertion that it all began with the most complex entity in the system, which appeared from nothing without any explanation. The complexity we see is explained as being due to the anthropomorphic whims of that entity.

The Void is nothing, an infinite dimensionless nothing. The Universe formed within the Void. The Void permeates the Universe bringing the Quantum fluctuations with it.
Random Quantum fluctuations occur in the void because a completely homogeneous infinite void would require infinite order.
The God hypothesis requires that something more complex than the Universe exists outside of it. The critical weakness in that hypothesis is that it provides no explanation for the origin of that complex entity and the order required to produce it.
Moreover it provides no mechanism by which the energy and order of God is transferred to the Universe other than "let there be". Having a God contributes nothing but an insurmountable problem of origin.
Science uses simple rules to provide a detailed explanation of how everything we see today grew from a single Quantum fluctuation of formless energy 10^-35 metres across. No phenomenon has ever been observed to behave contrary to those rules.
Meanwhile the incongruities in your hypothesis are supposed to be explained by the anthropomorphic whims of your vengeful, forgiving, jealous, loving, angry, caring God.

Theland //So the geopolitical situation in and around Israel is just coincidentally in tune with the Bible? //
I have asked to be shown exactly which sentences match up with which geopolitical situations. All you do is make vague unsubstantiated claims that the prophecies are being fulfilled.
It is up to you to show the purported matches if you want to be credible.
You will need to come up with something better than "Israel is surrounded by enemies". It doesn't take a prophet to work out that people who glorify historical genocides as the justification for their modern invasion of the lands around them wouldn't be popular with their neighbours.

//nailit; You can't leave it alone can you?//
Strange how you never say this to any of the religious on here who post their views.
//I wonder if deep down you feel a little lost?//
And what if I DID feel a little lost? Perhaps I should find myself a 'faith' without any evidence whatsoever for its eh? Make everything better maybe?

Theland - // The C of E has lost its way with Ecumenism, political correctness, and forgetting the gospel. How can they evangelise and fill the pews? //
I doubt that it's because they are 'forgetting the gospel' - because that would apply to any and all churches.
The church where I attend Mass every Sunday is packed, and Christmas Eve, the 5.30 Mass was standing only, and I am sure Midnight would have been the same.
In answer to your point that people wait to 'pounce, put on trial and riddicule' Christians, I am an atheist and I do nothing of the kind.
What I do is pounce on, ridicule and put on trial anyone who talks down to me as though I am an eight-year-old with comprehension issues - but that applies to any poster on any section.
It just seems that a lot of the Christians who post on here do so with their lofty tutting about the ignorance of anyone else.
I have said before, and repeat - talking down to intelligent people is not appreciated, it gets hostile reactions, as indeed it should.

nailit; As I indicated earlier, I think you should ask yourself why you feel the need to ask such a question. Do you feel that you lack a belonging to something? Do you need as a substitute for that lack to feel the camaraderie of the like-minded in order to deconstruct and debunk something you can't understand?
Khandro, site rule #1 - play the ball not the man. If you remove the direct attacks on Nailit from your last post, there's nothing left ...

It isn’t ‘coincidental’. In an area inhabited, in the main, by Muslims, the State of Israel was created by the design of man with no help whatsoever from the wondrous hand of God. That’s why it’s surrounded by Muslim nations. Nothing mysterious about it.
