Just for information really, but seven celebrities tackle a medieval pilgrimage to see whether it still has relevance today.

I started watching the first in this series yesterday and thought it very interesting. Is anyone else watching?

ABer sandyRoe did this pilgrimage and gave regular updates here on his progress.

Is it on iPlayer?
Yes, I have been watching and enjoying this - a few more comments on other threads somewhere too.

Interesting.
Watched all three parts of this and found it interesting, but it was spoiled for me by the constant moaning and whingeing of the Rev Kate Bottley - what a pain the backside. I hope she was embarrassed when she saw the completed programme.
Yes I watched it all the way through Naomi with Sandy in mind actually. I thought it was interesting, but some of the characters would have driven me mad had I been walking with them (which I wouldn't). Lots of moaning, especially Rev Bottley but loved the Irish comedian who seemed to be the only one to enjoy walking. The scenery was stunning and their stopovers were interesting. Not a bad watch.
I watched it from the beginning too and thoroughly enjoyed it, thought of sandyRoe everytime. Whilst she didn't spoil it for me, I did find the Rev the least likeable of them.

I've only watched about half of the first episode and I must admit the Rev. Kate is a bit of a whinger which seems odd bearing in mind that, as far as I can tell, not many of the group claim to be religious.
Believe me, naomi, plenty more moaning from KB to come....
She seemed to get the most airtime as well - or perhaps it just seemed that way. Either way she has a lot to say for herself.
Ed Byrne, Neil Morrissey atheist, JJ Chalmers agnostic, Raphael Rowe confused, Debbie McGee ??? and Heather Small and Rev Bottley believers, I think
Why is Christ & followers all shown as white people when they were Arabs? I felt sorry the black lady couldn't assimilate with the church for this reason.

tamborine, they weren't Arabs, they were Jews.

I've finished the first part and watched the second. Thoroughly enjoying it.
I enjoyed it and thought that they gelled together well. Some very interesting discussions
How uncanny that this film was on last night.

Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Saw that film in the cinema when it first came out. Really enjoyed it
Indeed Elliemay. Not sure my feet would like it, but i'm sure it would be good for the sole.

Might add it to the bucket list.
I do like a pun ;-)
As walkers, we had toyed with the idea of doing part of it but I couldn't stand the snoring!!
Thanks for posting that klaxo. Looks interesting. Any idea if/where I can watch it now?
It's OK, I've found it on Netflix.
Sorry ladybirder, I've only just checked back in.
Glad you found it.

I'm not saying it's riveting, but I did thoroughly enjoy it.
Thought a great deal about the possibility of maybe doing it one day.
I think it will be on the cards for me.
