Some examples of verses which I believe in and attempt to practise but feminists would have a problem with (I expect) are: Ephesians 5:22, Titus 2:3-5,First Timothy 5:14, and Proverbs 14:1 and 31. Feminism I believe demeans women whereas Christianity honours them.

I am a Christian and I believe it is partly because of feminism we have the Pill, abortion on demand, an astronomically increased number of single mothers, teenage mothers and women in their 40s struggling with infertility; we have a fatherless generation who haven't seen a better example; chastity is mocked, women are sexualized and coerced into selling themselves cheap; we have no-fault divorce, and deterioration of family. Some would say, this is fine, it's their choice. It absolutely is. But it's not Christianity.
Nailit....here's what you have to believe to be a Christian.
the Nicene Creed
We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is,
seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
was incarnate from the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and was made man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come.

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
You don't have to believe in the Bible apart from where it states those things mentioned in the Creed.....did you not know this?

Don't know how it honours women by making them less than equals?
You quoted just a few verses and I could quote many more showing that females were considered considerably less than males in biblical times.
But hats off to you spungle, at least you replied and provided references more than some on here :-)

So your preference Spungle would be not to have the Pill and abortions? Do you know what happens then? There is no decrease in 'single mothers', men have ever wanted sex and taken it when and where it is available and then run off when there is a consequence. That's why Ireland had the Magdalene Laundries (until the 1980's I might add), because people (the male dominated Christian Church and the dim witted society it controlled) stigmatised women who had outlived their usefulness to the men who had sex with them. That's why we are still digging up mass graves there. That is why we have a whole generations of children torn from their mothers and illegally adopted. That is why people need choice, not religious dogma.
