When he experienced his vision of the dry bones, Ezekiel, together with many other Jews, was in exile in Babylon (“We are cut off” – Ezekiel 37:1-11). His hallucinations (modern medicine considers he suffered from epilepsy) were far more likely to result from wishful thinking relating to his more immediate future rather than to a time thousands of years hence. Your preference for applying it to more recent times results from your wishful thinking.

Donkeys: gosh, the Apologetics Press has really got its knickers in a knot over donkeys. The fact is that, given the impetus, it’s eminently possible for writers to claim eventual fulfilment of a feasible prophecy – and the anonymous authors of the Gospels - and Jesus too (allegedly) - did just that. No straws here.

//The valley of bones. Job done//
Really?
Get back to me when you've actually read Ezekiel 37 for yourself and when you are actually ready to defend this faith in scriptural prophecy.
The valley of (dry) bones has nothing to do with modern Israel (actual or metaphorical) as can be seen from a plain reading of the text.
You have taken ONE verse from that chapter...
(I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel.)...
And taken it completely out of context while ignoring the rest of the chapter.
Modern Israel has never been ruled over by a king David, nations have never recognised that Israel is sanctified (whatever that means) by God.
And Israel wasnt founded by an army of zombies
//This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them//

Theland, in the article you posted, he devotes three full paragraphs trying to explain the contradiction about one or two donkeys. He then finishes his statement with"If a horse-owner came home to his wife and informed her that he had just ridden the horses home a few minutes ago from a nearby town, no one would accuse him of literally riding both horses at once."
So we now have a full explanation of why Jesus didn't ride the two donkeys. So what did the writer then do? he contradicts himself by saying It's possible that Jesus did ride the two donkeys, apparently in a sort of relay race, jumping from one to another until he arrived at his destination.
Seeing as you posted this to prove your point, I'm still not sure what your point is. The writer states, to prove his point, "the writers consistently supplemented each other's accounts". I suggest he has confused himself to the extent that he's using supplemented when he means contradicted.

Strange isn't it?
When asked about the inconsistencies regarding the beginning of the universe, the crazy theory of evolution, and abiogenesis, atheists are quite happy to say, "we don't know!"
But your nit picking and straw grabbing of the scriptures is not conclusive, and would have been picked up centuries ago by Yeshivas and theologians if there was any credence to it.

Theland, //Spending your life being indoctrinated with materialistic humanist atheist philosophy?//
I don’t know about Vulcan, but that certainly isn’t true of Nailit or me. We were indoctrinated with religion long before we embarked upon serious scrutiny of the evidence and ultimately took the only rational course available – the abandonment of belief.
The observations here with reference to Ezekiel aren’t nit-picking. They’re the result of reading Ezekiel.

I'd dispute the 'crazy' bit, but that aside, unlike you, we don't mind saying we don't know - because we don't.

The moving of the US embassy to Jerusalem is just another piece of the puzzle floating into place. So is Israel attacking Syrian and Iranian targets in Syria recently. Your doubts may have an explanation now or in the future, but the big picture is emerging.
Try listening to the many prophecy preachers, videos, and see if you can really totally dismiss them?

Try listening to the many rational philosophers. You WILL dismiss them because, frankly, you're nuts!

then so much for the prophecy about Israel living in peace with its neighbours. (about as true as Israel being founded by dead people coming back to life...Ezekiel 37, remember?)
