This year’s offering from Naomi is Silent Night, a carol that holds very personal and poignant memories for me. As before I’m posting my Carol Concert thread not only as my Christmas gift to the Christians among us, but also in memory of those ABers sadly no longer with us. Remembering my dear friend Chakka35 who died four years ago, Mikey who left us very suddenly in February, and many, many others. Please feel free to add your carol, your tribute, or anything else you feel is seasonal and appropriate.

I wish you all a very Happy Christmas. x

I've just done a Xmas carol concert with my community choir. Sussex carol was my favourite.
Could someone post it for me please?

A Merry Christmas, everyone.

Much love to everyone (what a lovely thread Naomi) and thoughts of those who have left us both here (Eccles, Postdog etc) and in the real world too x

One of my favourite carols x

I personally love this version of Oh Holy Night by the 'Clown with a golden voice', Puddles.

Sorry didn't see you'd also chosen that Mamya, lovely carol :(

This too then x

Remembering Mazie. A lovely lady.

It Was On A Starry Night brings back memories of travelling back from Germany, the children had sung that carol at school and sat in a corner of a crowded ferry singing that and the rest of their repertoire at the tops of their voices. As we prepared to go down to the cars a old lady came to us in tears and said how lovely they were, they themselves came over with a couple of pint glasses, stuffed with money!!!!
Thank you, Naomi. That brings back memories of so many Christmas carol concerts at school. :-)

I know exactly what you mean, Tilly. :o)
For Psybbo, who often seemed to know me better than I did.x

for Stu, hoping he still enjoys wobbly pops. Happy xmas

In memory of mazie, mikey, postdog, especially and to many others from before such as mrs o, nungate, sybs, and owdhamer.

And to those ABers who are seriously ill.

My 'carol' is a pre-service anthem, Lauridsen's 'O Magnum Mysterium' and has been played in Truro and Kings, Truro being the home of the nine carols and lessons service.....Bishop Benson, 1st Bish and went onto the Canterbury job.

A hymn I like.
It's a time too to remember ABers who are no longer with us.
