No, a Sussex boy recently "down" from the Smoke.
Introduction to Liverpool at night on train, still miles from Lime Street: massive flames. Henderson's in Church Street burning down.
Lived in West Derby. Correction: West Durrrby. Not far from Knotty Ash. Buses to Penny Lane everywhere.

In my opinion, after death, we are either with God, or separated from Him.
By then, even if we are separated from Him, there is no doubting His existence.
We find ourselves completely alone for eternity, and that, is hell.
It is comparable to being thrown into a lake of fire, tortured, in pain, despair.
But God gives us what we always wanted.
We rejected Him, so now He rejects us.
We lived for ourselves, so God gives over our entire existence to ourselves, forever, that is hell.

Maybe atheists hope death is the end of existence, and can escape this.
The more arguments they put up to justify this belief is only a desperate attempt to salve their inner fears in this life, and hope there will be no eternity.
They are in for a shock.
They seem to find comfort in banding together and rubbishing the beliefs and glorious hopes of Christians.
Sad really.

In your opinion??
Who asked for your 'opinion'?
I asked that you justify it (using your own scriptures would be a start)
//We find ourselves completely alone for eternity, and that, is hell//
Give me a scripture to support this.
//It is comparable to being thrown into a lake of fire, tortured, in pain, despair.//
Comparable??
Where in scripture does it say ''comparable''?? You are making up your own theology.
//But God gives us what we always wanted//
LOL, Yes of course he does. Ive always wanted to be tormented forever!
//We rejected Him, so now He rejects us//
I no more reject your God than I reject Allha, Zeus or Thor. I simply dont believe in him/her/it. So is Allah, Zeus and Thor also going to reject me?
You, Theland, make up your own theology/beliefs as you go along (as do all believers).
Saying that hell is simply a seperation from God is denying the literal interpretation of the bible (torture, crying and gnashing of teeth, fire etc)
You have morals and are trying to square them with the horror that the Bible promotes. You know that its wrong to torture people. Forever at that!

For goodness sake stop arguing. Nailit, your mother deserves much better than this. She needs peace and reassurance with her loved ones around her not people wrangling as to whether she's going to hell or heaven. Personally I don't believe in either. Nor in God. They are all man made tales. As to going to 'join your loved ones' when we die then both heaven and hell (supposing they did exist ) would be full to overflowing by now. Full of the souls of relations, ex-partners, children etc.etc.People who passed away at a very young age meeting up with their children's souls that were much older than them. It's too weird too contemplate. Just let a person die in the comparative comfort of a peaceful end and letting them know how much they are loved. What happens next is a mystery and one that I don't think anyone is ever going to solve.
