Is your atheism based on a full and satisfactory appreciation of your understanding of the nature of our apparent reality, or do you possess any doubts on that on which you abandon belief in God?

Nah. You’ve lost me now. Is baby Jesus a digital concept then?
well there you go Theland, we disagree.....so which version is the inspired word of god? because there have been a few you know and they don't all say the same thing
Theland, Atheists have considered the question of the existence of otherwise of ‘god’ and are content with their conclusions. You, on the other hand, with your constant questions to Atheists, appear to be in a quandary. Conviction such as you claim to possess doesn’t require the endorsement of others so why all the questions?

I wish you and yours health and happiness in your new home.
To all you atheists, did you celebrate CHRISTMAS and are you looking forward to your EASTER festivities?
aog, I spend time with the people I love at Christmas and Easter because everyone's off work and school, but I don't 'celebrate' either.

Do you 'celebrate' Christmas and Easter? Midnight mass, Christmas morning service, Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Day - all services you attend?

Yep, I celebrated Christmas by buying the kids presents and going out for a drink with mates more often than I would normally.
Easter...it will pass me by like it never happened.

Does that make me religious?

//Easter...it will pass me by like it never happened. //

Very good. :o)
And I take it that all you atheists, have never sung a hymn or carol, never attended or had a church wedding, never attended a religious funeral and have made it know to your nearest that you also don't want a religious held funeral?
If I don't believe there is a god, but there is a party going on why shouldn't I join in?
aog, I've attended religious ceremonies and I've sung hymns and carols. I don't want a religious funeral though - in fact I don't want a funeral at all. The NHS can take any bits of me that others might find a use for and the rest of me can be carted off, without ceremony, and disposed of.

So what point are you making?

I would have thought that was obviously even to you, since you have gone to the trouble to oppose me in debate.

Coincidence. The memsahib and I both signed off our new wills only yesterday. We both requested cremation and no Funeral service. Just a jolly good Beano. :-)
//And I take it that all you atheists, have never sung a hymn or carol//
Yes, many a times. I quiet like some of the older hymns, doesn't mean that I have to believe the lyrics that im singing though.

//never attended or had a church wedding//
Wouldn't have one myself but have been to many. Would you expect me to stay away after Ive been invited?

//never attended a religious funeral//
As above

//and have made it know to your nearest that you also don't want a religious held funeral?//
Yep.
aog, I've responded to your post but I still don't know what point you are making.

I cannot be held responsible for your lack of comprehension.
You’ve not said anything that’s comprehendible tho, AOG.
