Then there's Elijah v the priests of Baal. (Remember his poring water over the whatever? And asking the priests afterwards if Baal had been... no, stop there, VE.)
Then there's the New Testament. Simon Magus? People curing the sick in Jesus' name?
Constant "miracles" then and now, Theland? How do you adduce evidence? How do you separate the true from the fake? And aren't false prophets going to produce "signs and wonders" in the "last days"?
Was that Matthew? Didn't St John say something similar?
