It is to me absolutely disgusting and no animal should suffer like this.

most halal slaughterhouses stun animals before killing them. Is that enough, or do you just want to ban them for being Muslims?

I watched something on it a few years back. They were stunned and the prayers were played on loop from loudspeakers.

One of the Halal slaughter houses near me was closed for a time due to the fact that the animals were being ill treated. Sheep were being flung around like rag dolls and their throats were being slashed at but not the one cut that they are supposed to get. Those poor animals were being repeatedly slashed . Halal slaughter is a disgusting vile ritual carried out in the name of religion.

I really don't mind people (such as Nailit) who are HONEST about their attitude to life and death, to animals being killed and eaten, and so on.

It's the "Oh look at the sweet little lambs playing in the field" brigade I can't stand - at least not when these same folk REALLY like a sweet little lamb on their plates.

You're either an animal lover (= don't kill them) or you're a lover of meat (= you don't really care).
