I found this on the net:

You mention not having interest in drugs, and I can understand that. Perhaps there are alternatives, such as avoiding certain foods or alcohol. I really do not know. But I do know, for example, that sugar ramps me up then I come off that sugar high and get kind of depressed, and that alcohol also causes me to feel depressed a little. Perhaps you can discover some of the things that do this to you and avoid them, and perhaps you can counter balance some of the depression with certain activities during those times. For example, turn the lamps a bit brigher on those nights, play some relaxing music, avoid depressing television shows, or even go to a place that is fun and upbeat. There must be some natural solutions.
So sorry, again. :( I'd buy you a pint to cheer you up if you were a bloke.
it's not related to your cycle is it, that would kinda coincide with a full moon if you were a regular 28 days, it could be coinciding with the whole jolly PMT part of your cycle.
There are lots of of herbal remedies out there too if you knew what you were trying to remedy.
However, if I were you I would nip along to see your gp. I have decided to make an appointment with mine just today (gotta wait a million years tho :-( as I too have been feeling really high one minute and then really low the next. I have alwasy been a bit like this, but for some reason the highs and lows seem to be greater now than ever and Im sick of never knowing how Im gonna feel.
Probably GP will think Im a weirdo. Maybe Ill go with the full moon theory to make me sound less like a weirdo....
Hope you feel better soon, honey.

Lots of people notice feeling weird around the time of a full moon. Don't expect the Doctor to accept this as a reason!! And don't take prozac!! If you think: our bodies are made up of mainly water. And the moon has a massive influence on the tides- so just think what it does to our bodies. Not to mention our cycles.
I agree that it could well be linked to hormones too. You could try evening primrose oil?
funnily enough I get these feelings at the new moon!
i was born on the day of the new moon so maybe thats why.
but i know a few people who act strangely at full moon. I have one friend who I now refuse to see at full moon - and he agrees because he is insufferable.
fortunately it only lasts for about 3 days - day before, on and day after.
