We have a rag doll. He is 15 and also meows all the time. Vet said this is normal behaviour in older rag doll. He has had no teeth for some years but manages to eat dry and wet food and steal meat off plates. He has very poor muscle tone in his back legs but again vet says normal for the breed. He looks thin but his weight is steady at 4 kegs. He sleeps most of the time but is constantly”talking “when up and about, usually very loudly for five minutes then back to sleep. Have him checked by vet but could just be normal old age behaviour. Good luck
Calmck - Many many thanks for your response.
That is exactly how our little Bonny is.
We suspected it was age related.
She is otherwise happy and sleeps in my room, sometimes on my pillow :-)
What the heck ! It's love :-)
We have four cats, 2 Ragdolls, Sybil 14, Bonny 13, a big healthy moggie, 10, and a Siamese, 2 1/2, all females.
(Lost another Siamese 16 months, car accident, 18 months ago. Still grieve for her. )
Fireworks just started here and Rags is sitting on the window sill screaming at them after sleeping all day and on waking pinched to pieces of smoked salmon!
