You keep saying this, which may or may not be true. But you don't believe it yourself. What was the "cause" of God?
If you are going to try to rationalise our answers, you need to go the same yourself.
Please don't answer with YouTube links... I have tried them, but they make no sense. If you understand and believe them, you could just say in your own words.
And "God simply is" is no more of an answer than "the universe simply is".

Theland, I answer, as does everyone else, because that is how the site works.
You are managing to exhaust the considerable patience of regular contributors with your Groundhog Day posts - eventually they will simply give up offering their views to be dismissed, and their questions to be ignored.
Take my advice, be happy with your beliefs, stop fretting over questions without answers, and try and switch off the endless angst your faith has burdened you with, and enjoy life a bit.

Agree with andy-hughes.
Theland in spite of stating he enjoys debating, rarely does. Very often when asked a question he increasingly replies with another question or more annoyingly, accuses the questioner of being awkward or too stupid to understand.
I get the impression Theland is not quite sure of his beliefs and constantly asks questions, not to discuss or learn, but to bolster those beliefs.
I will not reply to any of his future posts but will leave him with these lines from a 1970s song which is how I see his life.
" And the soul, afraid of dying, that never learns to live".
