Every time (it seems) that I listen to the BBC or watch BBC News, they seem to be going out of their way to find people who aren't happy with the way the Government are handling things.
I have just about given up and prefer to watch Sky News at the moment unless Beth Rigby is on and then I switch it on to Mute.
I feel that the Government are doing a reasonable job in these unprecedented circumstances. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
Sorry, don't usually moan!

It makes her unbearable to listen to, and whoever her producer is on Sky should tell her what a joke she has become, as can be seen all over the internet.
Is she the one who sounds like a man? I do agree about the BBC reporting - its very much point scoring against the government as are a lot of the questions put by journalists and I think without exception all the government officials speaking at the press conferences have been polite and very efficient with their answers. As for the one who insisted on calling the DCMO Jenny Paris and not Harries - well he should be ashamed of himself.
its difficult.....I would never want to stop anyone having their say....but I have been in a position where staff have spoken to senior managers in the NHS and stated what they truly believe from their perspective....it is THEIR truth but not the whole factual truth. Its a part of the problem of the new tech. Everyone can be seen and heard but they aren't accountable for their words in the same way that a journalist is. You can't stop it and I don't belive that it should be stopped but people seeing and hearing comments from someone's personal perspective should be aware of this and judge accordingly.
I watched BBC news earlier and waited for them to report that testing is being delayed because kits due to be delivered from abroad have been found to be contaminated with the virus…. but they didn’t mention it. The Telegraph did though.

Regarding the Telegraph link, one thing that bugs the heck out of me, is that some...many?... of the most important articles with information relating to covid are "premium" and behind a paywall. I know they need to make money, but at this time the news should be available to as many as possible from reliable sources.
The "Beep Beep See" have been a malign presence on our screens and in our lives for many years now. They long ago ceased to either report in an unbiased fashion, make entertainment programmes that reflect majority views and demographic reality, or to represent our best interests on a World stage. Their time has passed, and the sooner we are not forced to provide a vehicle for the marxists and left wing luvvies that have hijacked it for their own propaganda tool the better. When we have got rid of them from here.......and they will certainly move on if they are tasked with the responsibility of making it a viable financial organisation, then we can root them out of the other of our under pressure institutions that they infest.
Testing kits contaminated with the virus that they are "supposed" to be detecting. You couldn't make it up could you. This is what comes of letting the likes of the Beep have the means to force Governments into rushed procedures for fear of manufactured criticism. It is like a mad uncontrolled dash to see who can find the new and exciting angle on our "news channels" and one of the reasons that I look elsewhere for facts. I don't trust them. Mind you looking for the underlying, unreported facts and ideas does attract a bit of flack from the "I was only following orders" brigades.
