"Neither is there salvation in any other (than Jesus): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." and "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them." That makes it extremely clear that there is not many routes to salvation- it is found only in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ.
"it is found only in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ."
So that's the Jews ***, then!
What about Muslims? For them, Jesus is one of their most important prophets - they just don't believe he was the son of God.
As for Buddhists, they don't even believe in a a creator God, so they've got no chance.
Looks like it's just Christians!
What a load of pony!
Happy Saturnalia.

How do we get to know someone who lived almost two thousand years ago and whose public life spanned only some three and a half years?
In Jesus’ case there are four reliable biographies that help to build up a mental picture of the kind of person he was. By a careful reading of those four Gospel accounts, we can also perceive the pattern of thinking that motivated his actions.
So to be a true Christian rather than a nominal one, what is necessary? Jesus expressed it this way: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”—John 17:3; 2 Peter 3:18.

// what is true religion today .your guess is as god as mine ?? Matthew,7.14.15--1,Peter.4.18 first let's look at it from God stand point??.. first, Nation{ Israelites} out of the world at that time,, I'm and calling them my people so therefore 4 ,,Believers of the true god,, we know,, that they turn your back on God many times and the creator for gave them,, so therefore there must be a true religion which he has took out of all Nations and creeks and all people -so therefore that is-- is something special to him-- Today they live on Faith alone and try to obey his commands.

four reliable biographies were witnessed and the Apostle Paul, although never met Christ in person, he acknowledged his life. Matthew wrote his account c41 which was about 7 years after Jesus' death.
Mark wrote his account about 27 years after, Luke about 23 years. John was the one who survived all the apostles and he wrote Revelation about 96CE.
Would be good to check your facts. Obviously you don't know your Bible.

Barry1010.... you also can't generalise...what your church does is probably not the same as other churches but I am pleased to hear that your christian church accepts as true all the other variations of god that do exist. I feel that may well be unusual. If , for example, god is muslim does that mean you all accept the muslim version of god? I doubt that muslims accept the christian version of god.....but maybe they do....
