I dont watch/view/participate in any sport.

Im more interested in other things.

I've had 2 husbands. Number one was obsessed with football (American). Number 2 never showed interest in any. They were both *real* men...though I preferred the second as I was no longer a sport widow. If "real" men love sport, what is a woman who loves it? Unfeminine? Nonsense. Just be you.

I think that asking for a definition of a male is not a good question. We are all people. I could ask, 'what is a real woman?' But I doubt if that would go down well with women here.

By all the 'standard definitions of manhood ' I don't qualify.

I'd rather go on a girls night out than a men's, I'd rather go shopping than to football, I am happy to say out loud to whomever I am with if I think a man is attractive..... the list goes on.


Has anyone I have known well ever questioned my masculinity? No.

My definition of a mam is someone who is comfortable with who he is, and does not feel the need to endlessly underline it every thirty seconds.

What has sport got to do with being a man?
I hate sport with a passion.
It means jack to me.
If you love sports, then great. It just isnt for me. And niether is cooking or crotchet.

I have no interest in make up, hand bags or shoes but I don't think that has anything to do with the definition of a woman. I am who I am.

Nailit; I did read it again, but I'm still not sure why you ask the question. If you care about what people think about you, then fair enough, but if you are confident about your masculinity, then why ask. I'm older than you and I don't worry about whether I'm defined as a male or not. I'm certainly not female (although many years ago I did get a glimpse of it when I had taken acid) and I am certainly not a male who loves being with other males (yuk!). I don't think there really is a definition of a male; we are what we are. What do you think?

I wasnt interested in sport and no good at it ( any ) so my skooldays were unremitting hell.

found by chance ( big fella ) I good at rowing at Cambridge ( at not for) and life I admit changed. ( for the much much better)
