Bbc Quiz : Week 34
70 Answers
The adult quiz is (in my humble opinion) dead easy this week. I knew the first six answers and I would have guessed the last one correctly if I'd not thought that there might be a bit of a catch to the question, which there wasn't. So that's SIX out of seven for me:

With THREE out of five for me in the junior quiz

I'm feeling quite pleased overall - although I'm still kicking myself for not achieving a double maximum this week, which I think is achievable. Perhaps you'll do it though?

I blame it on my trip to Cardiff for a two day family event to celebrate my fourscore years.
Flowers, chocolates champagne, a trip to St Fagans for a picnic lunch and the granddaughters loved the tree top adventure, lots of banter and catching up and a grand finale at Pizza Hut! (younger members' choice). It was just like old times

Double 3 is 'passable', anyway, Haras2 ;-)
Fourscore years? You're the baby among us, I think! I'm glad you had a lovely time anyway (and I hope that Shady got to join in the celebrations!).
I had a nice day out yesterday, visiting Beccles and Bungay (on the Norfolk/Suffolk border) with my friend who's visiting from Italy. I'd like to go out with her on a few more trip during her stay but, alas, the hospital won't let me. I've got to stick to strict social distancing, meaning that I can't share a car with anyone, for the next fortnight, as I've got a very minor op coming up. The thought of the op isn't bothering me at all but I feel frustrated that I can't go out with my friend and that I won't be able to see my lad on his birthday on Bank Holiday Monday :(

^^^ Crossed posts. I'm pleased that Shady is still friends with you. Moonbeam is avoiding me at the moment, as I keep trying (without the slightest hint of success) to get some flea treatment onto the back of his neck. He always has far more problem with fleas tan his siblings do but he's also the one who it's hardest to catch!
