…. of living for eternity on a perfect earth inhabited by Jehovah’s Witnesses (which is what they expect to do) or the oblivion of death which would you choose?
Always wonderd how this New Earth is going to work?
Who is going to clean the sewers etc.
Who is going to clean up sewage?
who is going to provide services?
Will medical care be provided?
Where will food come from?
Will there be butchers?
Although i might not agree with their religion, whenever they have come knocking on my door they seem to be happy and content with what they have got ,which is more than can be said of some on here.
fcc, when I go out knocking on doors at night I also seem happy and contented with what I have got; but strangely, some people think I am drunk, and chase me away.
Khandro, I thought Naomi's OP was not at all provocative. What was provocative about her simple question? Only provocative to over-defensive insecure people, which I am sure the JWs are not. Surely they are not snowflakes?
tomus; you only coped with it for 14 billion years. Forever is much more than that. So much more that it cannot logically exist as a perceptible thing.
Khandro, consider it a poll on behalf of Goodlife. I just wondered how many here fall into the category of the poor lot he mentions frequently. Are you going to attempt to answer the question or are you going to leave it at criticism?
Pondering choices that don't exist goes against my religion. I prefer to invest my limited time considering options that count for something, such as how many sheets to tear of the roll when the moment for such decisions arise.
