Bible prophecy gives us a window through which we can see major events that will affect all of us. One prophecy in particular allows us to see what some of the most powerful governments on earth will do. (Revelation 11:7)

I fear we are witnessing him avec medication, Naomi.
Not the near future, but

In the year 7510
If God's a coming, He oughta make it by then
Maybe He'll look around Himself and say
Guess it's time for the judgment day
In the year 8510
God is gonna shake His mighty head
He'll either say I'm pleased where man has been
Or tear it down, and start again
We've a while then.
he must have immeasurable patience . . .
Vulcan; //Khandro, the link is a compilation of prophecies from different religious groups, doesn't matter who actually assembled them.//

Errr..... another one who can't keep up! -that is what I said at 9:59.

They are sayings by PEOPLE, not by Christ, and the Wiki page artfully, by using the word 'religious', tries to imply that it is.

I can assure you that the only people who have contributed to that Wikipedia page are people like yourself; - atheists who want for some self-serving reason to denigrate the Christian religion.

Well one thing of all this you won't be able to say ''I didn't know'' and that is the whole theme of the Bible .It wasn't written for nothing it was written for true Christains and for those that want to sincerely know the future in their heart not in their head. So have fun!
alleluia!
// PP. Go and take your medication.//
foo brilliant one liner as ever

when I read the usual comments on AB, It makes me wanna take the whole bottle ! ter daah !
Khandro, 'artfully'? Nothing more 'artful' than the language you use at times. It's actually laughable. So in your estimation nothing that wasn't allegedly said by Jesus can be considered 'religious'?
// it was written for true Christians// OT that is !
er
it was written for and by Jews, israelites and sundry others innit?
tell me if I am wrong

I know I need medication ( see brilliant one liners above) but how can something be written for people who dont exist for 1000y ?

AB on a friday methinks
// So in your estimation nothing that wasn't allegedly said by Jesus can be considered 'religious'?//

a bit gobbledegooky again - so if it were said by jesus ( are we saying he exists this week or not, yawn) but not recorded - was it said and was it religious
like you know - 'just got time for a coffee at Nando's before Dinner?' -
so many questions

we should agree that the words recorded were recorded for a purpose and perhaps even wonder why they were
Aren't these Christians getting a bit P'd off with all the predictions / prophecies which don't come true?

Any rational person would.
'I can assure you that the only people who have contributed to that Wikipedia page are people like yourself.........'

Clearly incorrect. Many of them are simply reporting the failure of the predictions to materialise and have no bias whatsoever.

If you believe that you'll believe anything. What possible reason could anyone have for taking such trouble if not for denigrating Christianity & attempting to appear smart?
Perhaps there are ABers contributing on there - why not try yourself? you could have an audience of millions.
//attempting to appear smart?//

They are smart. They don't defend the indefensible. One prophet of doom, Harold Camping by name, an American evangelical radio broadcaster who predicted the date of the end of the world (his first attempt was wrong) had his believers disposing of their possessions in readiness! How smart is that? When Mr Camping died his net worth was estimated at $75 million. That's pretty smart!
'If you believe that you'll believe anything'

How can you not believe a link which takes you to a factual account of someone predicting something that never happened?
I think Camping is in my list, Naomi.
Sorry, my link.
Rev 11:8
"And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified."

To be fair that's actually quite specific about where all the dead bodies are going to turn up. Any Sodomites and Egyptians on here that can take a quick look out the window and check for piles of bodies and let us know?

Zacs //How can you not believe a link which takes you to a factual account of someone predicting something that never happened?//

and how can you not see that that is not a 'Christian prophecy', they were simply predictions made by assorted individuals - not Christ?

They probably got it wrong when predicting the next day's weather too. Their predictions are nothing to do with the gospels.
