Musing On Good Friday I Got To Thinking...

...about the legionnaire who speared Jesus as he hung on the cross.
I like to think that this act was an attempt to administer a merciful coup de Grace rather than a piece of gratuitous violence.
Any thoughts?

god is some really demanding
die calends XXV diembris
if it aint there, then he wasnt born on 25th Dec
normal Holy Week on AB then
Technically for those who think He WAS nailed to a cross, ( and put King of the Jews ( INRI Iesus nazarenus rex judaeorum) no no - put " he said he was King of the Jews" - no what is written is written )
One (He) hauled himself up wivviz legs to get a breath but this only prolonged the agony. Any one nailed to a cross was gonna DDDIIIIIIIIEEEEE! And so ... the coup de grace was to break the legs.
however the breakers broke only the legs of the robbers, as they "found he was already dead"
You really always knew this innit?

I am sure a lot of rebels were crucified, I am sure at least a few were called Jeshua it was a fairly common name apparently. What I don't believe is a rebel Nazarene was the son of any god. So whether his legs were broken, he was stabbed in the side, or he just got exhausted and stopped breathing is totally irrelevant.
@18.40.I understood every word you said,Peter,up to the word"god",after that [email protected] understood every word you said up to the word"credo",after that no.
