really? Any shred of evidence for your claim? Did you happen to see Greta Thunberg there while you were jiving with Fender?
I'm not sure Dave has ever been to a festival.
the question was whether a single one of them has ever "lectured everyone about saving the planet".

Still waiting for an answer.
Damn savages.....etc
Neither has Webbo...so it seems.
Use it, lose it. They don’t care.
It doesn't really matter whether or not these people have lectured others on saving the planet; the bottom line is that these are the people the rest of us are trying to save the planet for and help rather than hinderance would be welcome.

This made me laugh - no evidence to back up this blatant bigotry.

Many of the clean up volunteers are young people.

They are not all the same. Some are obsessed with green issues, others don't give two hoots.

At Glastonbury they have volunteers and helpers who clean the place up after the event.

No matter how much use you make of rubbish disposal facilities (and at Glastonbury there simply wasn't enough), it's too difficult to have that rubbish collected whilst the festival is going on (I'm referring to Glastonbury but the same logistics apply to Leeds).

There IS some good news though - the tents that are left are reused as shelter for refugees, so it's not all bad news.
