People down through the ages have been accustomed to picture their gods as having the same needs as humans. This is because their gods were of their own invention, based solely upon an imaginary foundation. Because they have found no satisfactory answer to this question, many have lost faith in God . Why has God allowed humans to have their own way for so long? Why has he allowed suffering to exist all these many centuries? One vital reason is that a very important issue was raised: Who has the right to rule? Should God be the Ruler of humans, or can they rule themselves successfully apart from him?Humans were created with free will, that is, with the ability to choose. They were not made like robots or like animals, who are guided mainly by instinct. So humans can choose whom they will serve. (Deuteronomy 30:19; 2 Corinthians 3:17) Thus, God’s Word counsels: “Be as free people, and yet holding your freedom, not as a blind for badness, but as slaves of God.” Peter 2:16) However, while humans have the wonderful gift of free choice, they must accept the consequences of their choice of action. Having allowed an ample demonstration of the failure of human rule during centuries of time, God can now proceed to intervene in human affairs and bring a halt to suffering, sorrow, sickness, and death. Having allowed humans to come to the peak of their achievements in science, industry, medicine, and other fields, there is no longer any need for God to allow more centuries of time for humans independent of their Creator to demonstrate whether they can bring about a peaceful, paradisaic world. They have not and cannot. Independence from God has resulted in a very ugly, hateful, death-dealing world.
Locust- Please listen when I say the Jehovah's Witnesses are a very dangerous organisation to be involved with. They are a cult and not a Christian Church.
I have no ideal where you live but most towns and cities will have at least one Bible believing church which you can attend and will welcome you.
There you can get grounded in some proper Biblical teaching
A. death dealing blow . Satan the devil the Destroyer. will fully lied. cheated .And Adam and Eve willfully disobeyed their creator.
Why are they so popular?. Conspiracy theories increase in popularity during “periods of widespread anxiety, uncertainty, or hardship,” states the Encyclopaedia Britannica, such as “during wars and economic depressions and in the aftermath of natural disasters like tsunamis, earthquakes, and pandemics.” At such unsettling times, people accept conspiracy theories because these theories validate what they believe or help them to understand why bad things happen

Apostasy
This term in Greek (a·po·sta·siʹa) comes from a verb literally meaning “to stand away from.” The noun has the sense of “desertion, abandonment, or rebellion.” In the Christian Greek Scriptures, “apostasy” is used primarily with regard to those who defect from true worship.—Pr 11:9; Ac 21:21;O
Officially, as the New Catholic Encyclopedia concedes, “the Church is committed to a belief in angels and demons.” However, Théo, a French dictionary of Catholicism, admits that “many Christians today refuse to attribute evil in the world to the devil.” In recent years Catholic theologians have been walking a tightrope, precariously balanced between official Catholic doctrine and modern-day thinking. “Liberal Christian theology,” says the Encyclopædia Britannica, “tends to treat the biblical language about Satan as ‘picture thinking’ not to be taken literally—as a mythological attempt to express the reality and extent of evil in the universe.” Regarding Protestants, the same reference work states: “Modern liberal Protestantism tends to deny the necessity of belief in a personal devil.” But should true Christians consider what the Bible says about Satan as mere “picture thinking????.
Locust- I am not really understanding what you are saying. There are 66 books in the Bible, all of them in one way or the other are about Jesus. Christianity is a bout Christ there is rather a big clue in the name.
In the hundreds of years between Jesus and Charles Taze Russell, were no Christians anywhere? It is such a preposterous claim. You seem to overcomplicate things. The New Testament is clear you must be born again.

Fiveleaves --The New Testament is clear you must be born again.
Locust ...Why did Jesus say, “You people must be born again” ? (John 3:7) Is being born again imperative to gaining everlasting life, as so many insist ? What does it take to be born again?
We cannot understand the subject of being born again unless we have clearly in mind what the Scriptures teach regarding two distinctly different destinies for those of humankind gaining salvation. Two different destinies? Yes, God’s Word explicitly teaches that only a very limited number of mankind will ever get life in the heavens as Christ’s Kingdom heirs or associates. All others gaining salvation will receive everlasting life on earth as children of Christ the King and as subjects of his heavenly kingdom
How is a person born again?
When Jesus discussed the subject, he said that those born again would be “born from water and spirit.” (John 3:5) This expression refers to baptism in water followed by baptism with holy spirit.—Acts 1:5;2:1-4.
Jesus was the first person to be born again. He was baptized in the Jordan River, after which God anointed (or, baptized) him with holy spirit. Jesus was thus born again by holy spirit as a son of God with the hope of returning to life in heaven. (Mark 1:9-11) God fulfilled this hope by resurrecting Jesus as a spirit creature.—Acts 13:33.
Others who are born again are also baptized in water before they receive the holy spirit.
a(Acts 2:38.41) They then have the sure hope of life in heaven, which God will fulfill in the resurrection.1Corinthians 15:42-49.
Misconceptions about being born again
Misconception:A person must be born again to gain salvation or to be a Christian.
Fact: Christ’s sacrifice provides salvation not only for those who are born again as the ones who will rule with Christ in heaven but also for the earthly subjects of. John 2: 1,2;Revelation 5: 9, 10) That second group of Christians have the opportunity to live forever in Paradise on earth —Psalm 37:29; Matthew 6: 9, 10; Revelation 21: 1-5.
Misconception:A person can choose to be born again.
Fact: The opportunity to have a relationship with God and gain salvation is open to all. (1 Timothy 2:3, 4; James 4:8) However, God chooses those who will be born again, or anointed with holy spirit. According to the Bible, being born again “depends, not on a person’s desire or on his effort, but on God.” (Romans 9: 16) The expression “born again” can also be rendered “born from above,” confirming that the selection of those who are born again comes “from above,” or from God. —,
