We often talk lightly about strange occurrences but has anyone had anything happen to them or somebody you may know that would be construed as not the obvious coincidental happening or any other unusual phenomena ?

Iv'e known you to be quiet on occasions (when you can't answer questions for instance). Does that make you somebody else? get a life for goodness sakes..........

The Brian May experience(sounds like a new group) and any other weird and yet wonderful happenings were just the type of thing that may happen to a lot of people and yet the mental connection between the strange coincidences may never arise.
I wasn't particularly asking for an explanation because I've found as with many of my own experiences, there isn't one.
I think wiz and Theland should have their own section on AB or maybe even a radio talk show.
Here's another strange and true story; I was writing a letter to the council regarding a small plot of grass just across the road from my house which kids played on and very often they would run into the road to fetch a ball. I was asking the council if they could put a fence around the perimeter to stop the kids running into the road and just as I wrote those words "Stop your kids running into the road", I heard the same phrase at the same time come from the T.V. playing in the background on a disney movie. It made me stop in my tracks and think was I sub-consciously being influenced but why did it happen at exactly the same time?
An analysis:

Of all the phenomena we witness and events we experience it stands to reason that the unusual stand apart, if for no other reason than that they are, well . . . unusual!

There is something unusual happening 49% of the time. Inevitably two or three or four unusual things will happen at the same time; coincidence?

If two or more events take place usual or unusual at the same time than by definition it's a coincidence. If you believe this alone warrants a rewriting of reality . . .
you are not alone

When we choose to focus our minds on the extraordinary, that is what we see.
Good heavens, Sir, I wouldn't mind betting that you had a good explanation for why when we drop the toast on the floor, it always lands buttered side down!

At least it does in this part of the world!
A Wizard & Theland Talk Show? What a good idea. I'd listen.

I know it sure doesn't taste the same when we pick it up(only joking).

By "choosing to focus our minds on the extraordinary, that is what we see" That almost sounds like that because I may have an interest in something then I maybe making it up or to look at that another way; Some people maybe more receptive to unusual phenomenon because they are.

I have witnessed flying craft also that defied logic in it's movements and I wondered if it is controlled by people or whatever from another world/s, are they responsible for the creation of life on this planet or other planets not yet born?
Theland, I have of necessity (due to the vulnerability of an active imagination to insanity) on principle sought rational explanations for that which is brought to my attention. While many may consider this practice as leading to a boring reality, I have found the propensity of events having perfectly reasonable explanations an example of random chance succumbing to amazingly staggering odds. My first attempt to determine a rational explanation for something that seems extraordinary is not always right but most often my error comes to light by virtue of an even more reasonable explanation than I would have dared to conjecture.

May I offer up a toast to reasonable explanations?
Theland, regarding dropping the toast butter side down...
drop the toast first and then butter it. Problem solved
A wizard and Theland talk show? Iv'e heard that Theland has got the face for radio.
Be great if Theland was on the radio...I could turn that off.
Luna, I've only just seen your post on ufo's - and I posted a question on that very subject this morning. Yet another coincidence!! :o)

spooky !
When Murphy dropped his buttered toast, and it landed buttered side UP, he thought it was a miracle and told the priest, who agreed and told the bishop, the archbishop, and the cardinal, who also agreed and so a letter was sent to the pope, informing him of this wonderful miracle.
A while later, the pope wrote back, saying that it was not after all a miracle, but that Murphy had simply buttered the wrong side.
Theland, :o)
Me and Wizard on the wireless? What a great idea.

Smashy & Nicey, and now Wizard & Theland!

On a Sunday morning I hope, a mix of worship songs, thoughtful anecdotes, and useful household tips, like "How to feed the family on the minimum wage," a special recipe involving five loaves and two fish. I'm sure Wizard would love that one.

What a coincidence Theland. I was going to make some bread today(Really).
Do you think the show would ever be transferred to T.V.
Probably end up like Jerry Springer with wizard trying to force-feed you the Bible. :0)
