On a lighter not so serious note:
God(?) supposedly knew we would do bad stuff but he or it didn't nip it in the bud after Adam and Eve's famed bonking under the tree.So what did God give us the reproductive bits for?
Blame it on the snake.(Trust in me!)
"Oops!" exclaimed God.
They can't believe in something invisible.
So Jesus is born
Does a lot of preaching
Turns water into wine.
Feeds thousands with a couple of loaves and a few fishes. (I couldn't even satisfy a family of five with that).

On a personal level, I think some of the belief systems have a lot to answer for and if it is the devil's little joke, then depending how you look at it, it's either very depressing or highly entertaining.

Why would the devil exist if there wasnt a God? what would he be 'fighting' against? why would he want to create disharmy and why on earth would he want to convert the sinners?! Infact if there wasnt a God there would be no sinners!
I dont mean to be cynical, i just find it amusing that people can freely talk about and believe in the devil but then dismiss God!
