Compassion
10 Answers
Where's the compassion in Christianity? There seems to be a distinct lack of it around here. Most Christians who contribute to R&S appear to be full of doom and gloom, totally wrapped up in themselves and their biblical ideology (when it suits), obsessed with saving their own souls and to have little thought or compassion for their fellow man. Christian? No. I don't think so. I've known Jews and Buddhists who have a more 'Christian', caring philosophy.

Morning Chaps ...... Oh Mani, you really do say the nicest things. I'm touched - but not quite as touched as you.
Theland: No you haven't upset me. I just wonder why many Christians have so little compassion. Their attitude often seems to border on hatred or disgust towards others outside their faith and so completely contradicts the teaching they profess of follow.
