When God created the planet earth why did he put techtronic plates inside that cause death, destruction and misery through earthquakes and if as I believe he didn't create the planet earth why do so many people's lives (including non believers) have to revolve around religeon.

Your question is interesting because you clearly imply that god exists but then go on to say that he didn't create the Earth.

If he exists he did everything, inhcluding all the bad things. He did the bad things mostly to test your faith if you believe the believers.

If he doesn't exist then your question is invalid.

I think when your discussing God, even if you yourself don't believe, you have to talk as if he does exist, to get your point accross.

Mainly because there's no proof one way or t'other.

So many peoples' lives revolve around religion simply because we die. If we did not die, then we would not need to 'cling on' to the hope that there is an eternal life after here and we would not need to obey certain rules and/or behave in a certain way in order to get there!
I really think it is that simple - no physical death = no need for religion!
