Suicide Bombers

Someone asked me this question today.....

"If male suicide bombers are motivated by the fact that they think they'll be looked after when they die and will have 70 virgins, what motivates female suicide bombers?"

Not meant to be a joke and was asked by a very PC person. So what's the answer? Is it just their belief? The idea of having 70 virgins (I'm female) for me, would simply be my idea of hell!

i'm surprised there arn't more suicide bombers from essex-try finding 7 virgins there -never mind 70!
btw i thought all girls fantasised about girl on girl action-or is it just the guys? :)
Don;t think female bombers are promised anything(def not 70 male vrgins) but perhaps martydom(how unequal!)

It's usually to do with martydom I believe scooby.

I watched something about it a while ago and sucicide bombings is becoming more popular by females as it's a way of them bringing honour to the family. (Presuming the family also has pretty extremist views).

They are not motivated by going to heaven, it is just one of the lucky benefits of blowing yourself to bits.

I assume female suicide bombers also go to heaven but pass on the virgins, unless they have sapphic tendencies.

The Israelis are not without blame, they have made many mistakes, but they demand the right to exist, and this is challenged by the palestinians.
There was never a sovereign country called Palestine, and the nearest to it has to be Jordan, who annexed the West Bank in 1948. Why didn't they give this land to the Arab refugees then?
They had 20 years to do so.
