Is the internet the work of Satan?

When flitting about the internet I notice it is near impossible to go say, for example, ten sites, without coming across one about atheism and I'm wondering is perhaps Satan and his cohorts using it as a vehicle to spread misinformation?

I believe there are just as much religion and spirituality sites on here than there is of Satanism. I think there is actually more about other religions than there is of satinism because i have used the internet to study both subjects.

Also a born again christian told me something ive always kept in mind. She said that in revelations when Jesus comes back to the world it will be in such a way that every being on the planet will be able to see him. My friend suggested that it could be through some sort of media such as tv or internet. These media have taken over our lives and we would jump up to them if we thought something worth while was about to happen. I thought it was interesting.
Certain neo pagans look at technology as a way of spreading energy throughout the world. I do beleive that technology is like an intellectual energy around the world in its own right now and if it wanted to it could wipe us out in weeks.

I'd love to see Jesus pop up on the internet claiming to be himself. Everyone would believe him and there would be immediate peace on earth. Don't you think?

I dont really know!! Apparently we are all going to KNOW its him. Just imagine the faces of some people!!!! What a day that will be!!!!!! I beleive someone or something is going to come down in the fashion of Jesus in revelationsm but im not sure whether it will actually be that man who lived on this earth all those many years ago!!

Styley that is a good question!!! I honestly think that it will all boil down to the fundemental teachings of all religions such as , no stealing, look after one another, respect the world and all beings in it, dont murder, do good so on and so on. The way i see it is it doesnt mattter which religion you are a member of, its how you have lived out your life as an individual. ALL religions in the world have the same fundamental teachings of this good living!!!! The actual religion itself is just the path you have chosen to help you act out your life in the right way!!

Hi styley, I don't know what you're googling to come to that conclusion, but I'd say, no, Satan and his cohorts aren't using the internet to spread misinformation, simply because Satan and his cohorts don't exist. You're right - many of us can, and do, live respectable, decent, lives without religion - but there's no doubt there's a lot of stuff on the internet that I personally would rather wasn't there. If Jesus did come back I'm convinced that no one would believe it was really him, because he wouldn't be what they're expecting him to be. Christians would consider him to be just another looney. I wonder what they are expecting? But that's another question, so I'll post it separately.
