What would you ask God?

If you had the opportunity to have a proper conversation with God, what questions would you want answered?

I agree with Kroozer. I'd ask for a cuddle first, then ask him to explain why he gave us a brain that can experience depression. It's negative, does no one any good and wrecks lives, needlessly. I'd also ask him how do I develop a faith. I don't believe in God, but would dearly love to have that sense of contentment that truly religious people seem to have.

I would ask him why in some countries millions of people go to bed hungry every night and many cant get enough food to keep themselves alive, yet in other parts of the world, the food supply is so excessive that manufacturers use vast qualntities of the worlds energy reserouces producing foods with few kilojoules. The ultimate goal being to sell hightly profitable puffed up products made of artifical ingredients so that people can eat as much as they like withoug gaining an ounce, yet the irony being that the more of these products sold, the fatter the population becomes.

dave1969 - I am so sorry that you are ill. Yes, it is perplexing to see the evil people apparently prospering, and so much injustice that you get mad.
The Christian belief is that this world was made perfect, and then became corrupted through mans rebellion against God.
Yes, I can explain more, as you are not going to be satisfied with one or two glib sentences, and I don't blame you. But please ask more and I'll try to explain more.

Dave, I can understand what you say - it doesn't make any sense at all. I too am very sorry to hear you're ill. Stick around and talk to us if you'd like to. Even though many of us here are non-believers, we are a caring and friendly bunch.

But I, for one atheist, have no missionary spirit and would not presume to try to indoctrinate you. All we rational chaps do is correct the facts, misapprehensions and false claims of the Thelands. First of all is the proof that this world is not perfect and there is another world where these things will not happen. In this world it is happening because God has given few things in human control.

Secondly because God knew all this will happen and that is the reason he clearly said that this world is just a test. Test of the people who have Health, Wealth, prosperity and all or most of the worldly blessings. Their test is that how they use that for the benefit of others. With health, do they help the weaker or they attack the weaker because they know they are stronger. With wealth, do they use that to help others or put that in the higher interest account and make poor even poorer.

As for the people who have not got these things, God asks them to be PATIENT. And that�s all and God says that I am with the one who shows patience. Decease in this world shreds your sins because that is when you remember God. Innocent children, they will be rewarded in hereafter anyway. If we have control on any matter out of this, we should try to be good

For your comments Naomi and Theland. I will ask you just one thing. You do not have to give Dave tissue but just tell me is there any thing else you can do to COMFORT him? If my words were not enough. Whatever you would say I am sure Dave would have already heard those. But in the end comfort is only in being patience and knowing that you would be rewarded for that.
