Nicked this elsewhere-wot do you think ?

Christian campaigners have objected to a charity that claims to be able to cure Christianity. Christians, or "Greys" as they are often known, are appalled that the Living After Midnight charity claims that Christianity, far from being an incurable condition, can be cured by a combination of prayer, consultation and Cher records.
"Christianity is not hereditary" claimed the Reverend Synesis. "I have Christian Grandparents, but I turned out OK".

Yo ho ho!
Cher records and the anti-Christ, together at last
and I thought the devil had all the best tunes!
I'm sure the irony will completely escape many, Brionon. Love it.
Thelands' gone again. Same as last week. I'm standing in for him.
Waldo, you took the words out of my mouth!

Theland, what on earth are you doing?
Excellent Brionon!
Naomi - Same as last week, my posts disappeared and couldn't post new messages. Another satanic attack. Had to don the green cloak to communicate. Either that or bring back Kroozer.
. . . goes shopping for Cher records, to be played in the event that I or a loved one should be smitten with that dreaded infirmity however obsure the line between which is worse the condition or the cure may be . . .

Mib, how wise. You never know when it might strike. Fine one moment, and then .... poof ..... you're a gonna! Best to be on the safe side.
Don't forget to dress for the part Mibs, a trilby is de rigeur.
It's not often you'll see poof and Cher in the same sentence.
Oh, I wouldn't say that.
You have to be controversial Naomi. Couldn't you agree for once? Just to make me happy?
Sorry, not really, Theland. Although all this witty repartee is perhaps not terribly politically correct, I think perhaps the 'iconic' status of the one in question has been somewhat overlooked.

Having listened to a couple of Cher songs I can, as a Christian, confirm that it really is like going cold turkey.

I don't know whether I am near cured or damaged further.

Still, at least it wasn't Mariah Carey.
Cher would have me chewing the altar rails!
