to tell the Moslem guy that he's dealing with demons, and to remove the Wiccan items from the girl as they are 'from the darkside' was bad enough; to instruct someone to give up their sexuality was ridiculous.
I then remembered that the people involved volunteered for this, so that's their choice. My choice not to watch though.

Yes Saw it found it distastefull.
Remember though to make "good TV" they're picking people who are likely to be confrontational.
I mean putting a bunch of your average britains in with a bunch of Liberal CofE clergy isn't goiing to make exactly spellbinding TV!
It rather tars all Christians with the evangelical brush - a bit like portraying all moslems as Islamists.

I havent watched it, but know enough to consider it ridiculous. I would go further and say that Christianity has probably been done a massive disservice by this programme.
A similar Make me a Muslim programme was done by Ch4 last year I think, token gay guy, atheist, woman who posses topless, unmarried mother etc etc, you know the dregs of (unreligious) society (of course)!
What next? Make me an atheist, where all the heterosexuals are turned gay, and happily married mothers are convinced to take up pole dancing and porn acting, whilst their husbands cavort around a forest with nubile nymphomaniacs with low virtue, getting them up the duff.
I think not, but I can imagine it would be far more interesting to watch!
They are probably all paid actors anyway.

I've been watching this and I also watched "Make me a Muslim" so they can't be accused of bias, I hope Hindu and Jew follow.
You're not going to get a minister of any faith advocating the practice of a rival belief, especially in a show about how by becoming a practising Christian will improve your life.
The fat bloke's an idiot and the young lad is a bit of pr1ck also, I'm amazed none of the ministers have asked him to marry his girlfriend now that she's pregnant now that'd be good tele.

completely agree with Octavius-I consider myself a Christian and was quite looking forward to watching. I turned off halfway through after the lesbian girl was told to take all her pictures down and given a lecture. I wouldn't dream of saying or even thinking such a thing and hope this isn't representative of Christian thinking today. God loves us all -warts and all and wants us to be ourselves.
