Poltergeist is a German phrase which means something like �unseen knock/noise� or thereabouts which is similar to what your central heating pipes do, and of course the wind.

This is very different to the mischievous leprechauns that keep hiding my car keys and slamming doors. I will catch them one day. Then they�ll be sorry.

I had mislaid my mobile for over a month & asked abers who had seen ghosts to find it. The clue received from Abers was keys on a keyboard. Next morning my mobile appeared in my 'spare keys' container.

Everyone connects life after death and ghosts with religion - but I believe that�s a huge mistake, and that both are simply, as yet, unknown facets of the natural world. We don�t understand either, and we can�t, at the moment, prove that either exist, but that doesn�t mean they don�t. I�m convinced that at some time in the future, science will find an explanation.

No seriously i think that we are reincarnated and i do belive that you meet the same friends and family members in your next life to it is all connected. You know like when you meet someone and you feel like you have known them forever maybe you have.

Anyway if i go to hell i will be too busy shaking hands with all my old friends to notice the heat anyway (im a lawyer)

Who knows? There's no doubt that some 'supernatural' occurrences defy rational explanation - but I'm sure there is one. Science just doesn't know how or where to look for it yet.

Since no-one has produced any evidence for an afterlife there is nothing to explain.

I often wonder when a person gets shot and dies immediately but the brain must be still functioning for seconds after his death because of the blood supply. Maybe its just his conciousness that fails first.

its a personal thing, you have to experience something personally first hand in order to "believe" that you have experienced something paranormal

no one is willing to believe any story of the paranormal second hand, unless you have already had an experience that validates your own beliefs
