I've now left my discipleship of Jesus. I still believe in him of course, I cannot deny him. I just find it too hard to follow him and carry my cross.
So this is a question to all Disciples of Jesus.

I have walked away from him, So can I lose my salvation ?

You can't tell can you? He's such a moody sod - one minute all forgiveness and kindness, the next minute striking you down with bolts of thunder. Personally, I'm wondering if he might be bipolar.
So now you're a... er... a Satanist?

I don't understand what you mean by ex-Christian if you still believe in the whole God, Jeebus and Holy Moly schtick. By the sounds of it, you're just a cr@p Christian, not an ex one.
The unforgivable sin of speaking against the Holy Spirit has been interpreted in various ways, but the true meaning cannot contradict other Scripture. It is unequivocally clear that the one unforgivable sin is permanently rejecting Christ (John 3:18; 3:36).
Speaking against the Holy Spirit is equivalent to rejecting Christ with such finality that no future repentance is possible. 'My spirit shall not always strive with man,' God said long ago (Genesis 6:3).
To leave Jesus is, of course, to deny Him. Walking away from Him is to deny Him. There is no way you can say you do not deny him with the statements you have made.
Oh well, Glidr, best just get on with enjoying life without that annoying religion stuff now, eh?

How many babies can you eat in a single go?

I can eat ten.
Just think about it,Glidr, you're now relieved of having to keep company with the likes of USALady.

Join the real world and count your blessings.
The first question we have to ask is who was Jesus? - and the answer is that he wasnt the fellow that USALady thinks he was, or that Christianity, or Islam, tells us he was (and they disagree). In reality, you are denying nothing more than a collection of two thousand year old myths created by men about a Jewish rabbi - so whats the problem?

USALady: If Jesus ever returned to this earth, Im convinced that neither Christians nor Muslims would recognise him - and neither would he recognise any of you.
Even though you have walked away, you clearly have the characterstics of a proselyte.

You called out for Disciples of Jesus to come, and they ^^ came.
That's me. Just doing Jeebus's work, eating babies and worshiping Santa.
Do you believe you're worthy of salvation?
Overlooking the pejoratives used, Mr. McFroog actually isn't that far from the truth... especially when he says "... you're just a cr@p Christian, not an ex-one". Truth be told, any of us who claim salvation by the perfect sacrifice of Yeshua Ha Massiach are "cr@p Christians" by comparison. But, I would point out that Yeshua said (in John 10:28-29) "... I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Fathers hand. I and the Father are one."(emphasis added). The fact that He also states the unforgiveable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is not in contradiction, in my way of seeing it, in that Glidr is moved to enter a post on a random site to those whom he/she does not know stating that Jesus "cannot be denied" and still believes in HIm. That's a heart's cry for understanding, not a refutation. Conversely, it's solid evidence that the Holy Spirit is moving in his/her life, just as He has in every believer's life, and "...that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the Day of the Messiah Jesus" (Phillipians 1: 6)...
Yeshua emphasizes in the very passage quoted about blaspheming the Holy Spirit, that it is not unforgiveable to deny Yeshua... (Matthew 12:31-32). Heck, Peter did it three times and Yeshua still invited him to a shore lunch...
Talking of blasphemy Clanad, how was the marmite...?!
Truth be told, any of us who claim salvation by the perfect sacrifice of Yeshua Ha Massiach are "cr@p Christians" by comparison.

By comparison? There can be no comparison. If anyone was a cr@p Christian, it was Jesus. He was a devout Jew who lived before Christianity was ever invented and had no intention of founding a new religion. Although the reality is not difficult to determine, it seems that for some it's impossible to acknowledge. Poor man. He has my sympathy.
You must have not followed the ending f that thread, Octavius... the less said the better Anglo-American relations will be... suffice it to say it rests with the fishes...

Were all entitled to our opinions, naomi, as you are, certainly... although I don't see any discussion in this thread about Jesus not being a Jew, nor anything about His intention to found a new religion... I may have missed it though...
To everyone knocking the questioner for having lost his way (possibly - lost sheep and all that) or for having chosen a path other than the one you feel to be right:

Try reading your bible - Matthew 7; 1&2

Ours is not to spout, but to support, assist and guide people to reach the decision that is right for them.

By the way, I know more good christians who don't go anywhere near a church than I do Christians who do.
Clanad, yes we are all entitled to our opinions, and it's my opinion that religion conveniently ignores the facts. Bearing in mind the subject matter of the question, the points I made are entirely valid - but perhaps you'd rather I hadn't highlighted them?
Word-Smith, some of the people here 'knocking' the questioner know the bible better than most Christians.
Do you know, overlooking the perjoratives, it's almost as though I actually think about what I write before I post it...
*ahem*
The OP is the poster formerly known as 'gravy' on CB.........so, by all means discuss this topic just don't expect any serious response from him....................he wouldn't have been serious when he posted this.
Agree with above. It's a wind up.
