i recently had my cat put to sleep and i am really upset. i hope he's gone to cat heaven, i thought he may send me a sign but so far i haven't had one. please don't think i'm a nutter, but i would be so pleased to know that he's passed over. what do others think
I think the fact that you have not received any sign means that his loss is a peaceful passing.
I am so sorry that you have had such a painful experience - it takes such a long time to recover (if ever) but at least you have your happy memories. Best wishes.
Yes, heaven would be a very dull place without animals.
if heaven is a place full of joy then for each soul to be joyful then it would need the things that made it happy on earth, like your cat.
Excellent - then it also needs to have Death Metal and LSD and dirty animalistic sex and... Oh, this is just a nonsense, isn't it?
Sorry to hear about your cat, Bright Spark. As far as I'm concerned, our cat is no more, and exists only in the memory of those who knew it and any genes it managed to pass on to its offspring. Personally, I can't see why anyone would wish for more.
I wasn't particularly expressing a liking, just chucking out examples of things some people like that clearly wouldn't be enjoyed by everyone. It could easily have been Octavius's favourite singer Mariah Carey which, like death metal, tends to rather polarise opinions.
I like Opeth and perhaps one or two other bands but generally it's not a genre I enjoy.
I couldn't speak for Octavius, but I find nothing amusing or entertaining about La Carey whatsoever. She's the vocal equivalent of Steve Vai - technically impressive but deeply unpleasant to actually listen to.
He, by contrast, loves her. Has everything she's ever done. On mulitple formats. Including the film that nearly (but regretably didn't) killed her carreer. Watches it every Thursday (or Mariahday, as he calls it).
BRIGHT SPARK - i'm sure he's sending you signs; it's just you're not seeing them. pay closer attention and listen more carefully. do you still put out a saucer of milk for him?
