The God of the Old Testament, and the God of the New Testament, are so different, inasmuch as one is an unforgiving God, the other is a forgiving God, one didn't mind taking life, the other does, etc etc.

Is it possible, that they are in fact two differents Gods?.

No

They are two different religions. Trust the Christians to muddy the waters with Holy Trinities, Blessed Virgins etc....

There is only One God:

"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage. You will have no other Gods before me"

"Hear oh Israel, the Lord is God. The Lord is one"

Simple.

If you want to quote the 'Shemah' , thats fine, but you have to remember, that whatever the religion, or sect of that religion, there are really true believers in that religion.

So on the one hand, you have true believers that believe in the God of Israel, and on the other, you have eg true Chriistians who believe in the God of Israel, but but with a huge difference,

He has a totally opposite personality.

Thanks everyone for your great, and thoughtful replies, just like to say, apparently, I've put a few replies on here,, but in actual fact, I have not put one reply on, maybe someone can explain that for me?.

Anyway, my own thoughts on the matter, are, and obviously everyone has a different perspective,

The Hebrew God, or the idea of him, was brought out of Egypt with Moses, bearing in mind, that humankind as a whole, has a general need to believe in a supernatural being, (life after death),

I'll be back later tonight or tomorrow, to reply in depth, got a match shortly, Table Tennis, and have to prepare.'
