My 15yr old has been asked to be a Godparent and I'm just wondering whether they were any age restrictions. He is a Christian and I'm sure that he would take the responsibility appropriately. Just wondering.

I'm 16 and i'm a godmum. I don't believe there is any specific age, but i think you may have to be over 13 or something in order to take the role on

Thanks for that LittleStar12 - It seems to be one of those things that it really hard to find out :o)
In the anglican church it's so long as you're christened and confirmed, or at least that used to be the case.
