I would have been interested in that. Was it worth going to?

well worth goingto . we had about 150 people attend , a question and answer session, with a christian speaker and a moslem speaker, interesting from both sides a lot of people taking notes, a good atmosphere. maybe if more discussions with people from different religions and cultures got together the world may be a better place. we finished the evening with tea and cakes and lots of chat.
Maybe the Christians and Moslems could get together, and agree ...

That as these ancient, and uneducated, attempts to explain how we got here are now only adhered to by the sort of people who believe in a flat Earth, and the tooth fairy ...

... they should agree to start referring to "non believers" as "the Enlightened Ones"

Then they would have achieved something.

Oh, of course, they'd need to persuade the Jews, etc, as well.
Hear, hear JJ.
Speaking of Jews, humpy ...

... did Frankie borrow that hat from one of his Jewish pals?

Last time I saw a hat like that I was driving through Golders Green on a Saturday morning !!

Actually, I agree with you. A couple of years ago I drove past an Islamic centre in East London that was throwing an 'open day' and inviting any passers-by to come in for a chat and food and drink. I believe that sort of effort can only help community cohesion. I would like to have stopped, but I was on my way to a wedding so didn't have time - and apart from that I was somewhat overdressed for tea and cakes!
