okay - I know that this has been covered on AB in the past but I am curious. What do YOU think of re-incarnation? do YOU know of any stories, (relating to you or someone you know) that seem plausible? Or could it be...as I suspect...related somehow to Jungs "collective consciousness" where the collective experience of humankind over all the eons is preserved in the unconscious mind of all of us...

It has to be the latter eve, none of us go anywhere when we died except back to the earth, our molecules (lazy sp) return to the earth and we grow again,

hmmm - some of the stories out there contain info about another (dead) individuals past that is uncanny...but collective consciousness makes more sense
It was smile Durheim who coined the phrase collective conciousness. Jung's theory is collective unconcious

Nice to have your informed opinion joss.

The fact that you have the right to give an opinion is great but why not give some foundation to your ideas I.e. How you have arrived at your conclusion that reincarnation doesn't exist, which theories you do subscribe to and the fact that 'of' only has ONE 'f'.

I'm using an iPhone which has the annoying habit of correcting my spelling. policies I should have checked but both times you used the word off in your first answer should have been 'of'. Anyway, what about the reasons for your conclusion that reincarnation doesn't happen?

73! I thought you were about 16. Anyhow, nice practical reason there for not believing. See what you can do when you put a bit of effort into it?
