Faithless Atheism

Twice in recent days there have been posts relating to the erroneous concept that Atheism is a faith. Can someone please tell me what atheists are presumed to have faith in?

Strictly speaking they'd be wrong though because whilst heathens do not believe in the God of Abraham, they often believe in other gods or practices. Atheists on the other hand, have no faith whatsoever.
DT, I think your angle on this is detracting from the question, so we'll have to agree to disagree. Faith in oneself can hardly be described as a religion - and religion is what we're talking about. The point is I haven't asked for opinions on the various definitions of the word 'faith', but on what people who consider atheism to be a faith, the God Delusion to be a bible, and Richard Dawkins to be a priest, imagine atheists have faith in. Nevertheless, I thank you very much for your input.

Is belief considered to be faith or vice versa?
Take away the religious connection and to believe in one thing doesn't really make that much difference to not believing because the non-belief then becomes a belief.
Add religion and that's a different story altogether.
Is atheism a religion? Not in a go to church fashion but a strong base for debate with the religious.
